Intro to Louise Dymond

I’m a business consultant and strategic advisor with over 30 years of experience across global brands, scale-ups and startups.  I work with businesses on the full picture – from business planning and go-to-market strategy through to marketing execution and growth.

My background spans market intelligence, competitive strategy, business planning, brand, campaigns and the full digital channel mix.  I’ve worked at every level – from briefing CEOs on market developments to rolling up my sleeves and driving execution.  That breadth is what makes the difference for clients – the strategy is grounded in commercial reality and the execution is built to deliver results.

My career started in biotech at Memtec, where I was part of the team during their IPO and helped establish their European marketing operations.  I moved into IT&T with Mercury Communications, where I led market intelligence, competitive strategy and business planning across a £2.6 billion business, contributing to GTM strategies across the US, Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific.

At IBM I led the strategy to launch IBM into the Australian internet market – hitting a A$100M revenue target, winning Best Below the Line Campaign with Ogilvy, and having the campaign adopted globally.

I also led the launch of the Sydney Opera House’s digital strategy – delivering a global campaign that drove awareness and engagement at an international scale, bringing one of the world’s most iconic brands into the digital age.

Since then I’ve worked as a fractional CMO, strategic advisor and business consultant across finance, health, SaaS, technology and professional services – helping businesses plan for growth, build their market position and execute strategies that deliver.

I’m a straight talker, a strong collaborator, and just as comfortable in a boardroom as I am getting into the detail and making things happen.
